Vectrix is the automation layer between your crowded inbox and your TMS. Built by AI engineers who know logistics, we focus on one metric: Time to TMS.

We automate complex supply chain workflows by integrating directly with existing systems. Our solutions reduce manual errors, take care of repetitive tasks, and help logistics teams move faster.

We’re a fast growing startup in Antwerp and we’re looking for an AI / backend engineer with at least 4 years of experience to strengthen our team in Antwerp. You’ll work on building and scaling our AI-driven logistics stack, with a strong focus on practical applications of large language models (LLMs) and OCR technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our backend system written in Python
• Build and manage AI pipelines using LangGraph
• Set up real-time evaluations and metrics to report accuracy to clients
• Research and improve OCR processing pipelines
• Interact with clients to understand and design new features
• Work closely with a small, motivated team to further develop our application
• Monitor and maintain our cloud setup, ensuring stable pipelines in production

What we expect

• Strong experience with Python
• Experience running applications in Docker containers
• Solid knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs:
  
  • Prompt engineering
  • Function calling
  • Creating evaluation dataset
  • Multi-modal processing (PDFs, images, …)
• Knowledge of OCR pipelines
• Knowledge of setting up and running CI/CD pipelines
• Able to work from our office based in the centre of Antwerp (4x week)
• Fluent in English

Big plus

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with the LangChain ecosystem: LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith
• A GitHub portfolio with proven projects
• A Master’s in AI or relevant engineering degree
• Affinity with the transport & logistics industry
